Jardines de la Almenara is a gated development conceived as a new extension of the city of Lorca, located in a strategic location between the cities of Lorca and Aguilas.
In 2019, after several years stopped its execution due to the crisis in the construction and real estate sector, it was decided to give new life to this project, relying on offering a quality environment that is positioned as a benchmark in the area. The set of villas is framed in a gated community, with access control and large fenced plots, creating a cozy and safe environment, offering the market a differentiated product compared to the rest of the offer available in the area. With this purpose, it seeks to cover a growing demand, both in the national public as well as in the public from Northern Europe and the United Kingdom, who are looking for sun, tranquility and proximity to the main services.

The area of Purias, where the urbanization is located, is currently one of the one of the references of residential development in our town, having experienced one of the largestIt has experienced one of the highest population growths of the different districts of the city, with an increase of close to 22% in the period 2013 to 2022.
With the idea of developing a quality environment with a good neighborhood that is a reference in the area, and coupled with the growing demand for housing in this area, these were the reasons that prompted the owner of the urbanization to order the relevant legal proceedings to undertake the urbanization works, going from a state of total abandonment to the current state, where all the roads have already been completed. It even has landscaped areas that serve as expansion for the families who live there.
In June 2024, the INITIAL APPROVAL OF THE COMPLETION PROJECT OF THE URBANIZATION WORKS OF THE ONLY ACTION UNIT OF THE ALMENARA GARDENS SPECIAL PLAN IN DIPUTACIÓN DE PURIAS was obtained.
Currently, the urbanization completion works are being carried out, as indicated in the previous document, and their completion is scheduled for this same year 2024. This will be followed by the service area, which will include, among other things, a gas station, supermarket, restaurant, etc.
Work is also currently underway on the new housing supply planned for marketing in 2025.
